European Economics Preview: Eurozone CPI Data Due

Friday, the only major report due for the day is Eurozone consumer prices.

At 2.00am ET, the Statistics Finland is slated to release CPI and GDP indicator. Consumer prices are forecast to drop 0.1% annually in July, the same as in June.

At 2.45am ET, French non-farm employment and wages for the second quarter are due. Non-farm employment is forecast to drop 0.8% in the second quarter.

At 3.00am ET, the Hungarian Central Statistical Office is set to release a final report for industrial production. Annually, industrial production is forecast to drop 19.9% in June.

Thereafter, Austrian CPI for July is due. Consumer prices had stayed flat in June. Meanwhile, Swedish unemployment is also slated. The jobless rate is seen at 5.2% in July, up from 5% in June.

The Eurostat is scheduled to issue a final report for CPI at 5.00am ET. According to preliminary estimate, consumer prices had fallen 0.6% in July.
